S-witch

This game was developed by team From Hardware for the USYD's GameJam 2026. Team members are: Yang Chong, Miuccia Simone Ty, David Dai, Vincent Yu.

S-witch is a top-down roguelike bullet-hell shooter featuring brand-new upgrading and boss fight mechanics built around the theme “Flip the Script.”

Defeat the enemies and get upgrade cards, that's reasonable, right? BUT what if you can flip the card over to make it enhance the enemies instead?? Don't see the point of this mechanic? no worries! GET YOURSELF SOME PURPLE CARDS FIRST!

Feeling especially powerful this run? Don’t get carried away.

There is an entity in our dungeon that can copy you. Every time you complete a run, your next run will force you to face your past self — fully inheriting your upgrades, movement, and attack patterns from the previous run. The more powerful you are this run, the more you will suffer next.

Thanks to the hard work of our incredibly talented artists, no AI-generated art assets were used in the development of this game.
